Connect your tools to the Association.
The City Builders Association exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Once connected, a client like Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor can read the public record and, when you sign in, take actions on your behalf. The client only ever acts as you.
https://thecitybuilder.com/api/mcpThis URL is resolved from the current page, so it always points at the right server. Paste it into your client as a streamable HTTP MCP server.
Anthropic's Claude desktop and web apps.
- 1Open Claude and go to the profile menu (top-right).
- 2Choose Settings, then Connectors.
- 3Click "Add custom connector".
- 4Give it a name (e.g. "City Builders Association") and paste the server URL below.
- 5Click Add. Claude opens the consent page in a new tab.
- 6Sign in with your City Builders Association account and approve access.
This server requires sign-in. The first time your assistant tries to connect, it opens the Association's consent page. Sign in with your own account and approve. The assistant then acts only as you, with your permissions.
Assistants cache the tool list. If we add or change tools, refresh or re-add the connector in your client so it picks up the latest capabilities.
